As part of our project weeks, the Nockberge Biosphere Reserve offers a variety of programmes for school excursions, hiking days and project weeks. During these programmes, pupils can experience the biosphere reserve at first hand.
Our programmes arouse curiosity and appeal to the pupils’ spirit of research and creativity. The biosphere park rangers have excellent specialist knowledge, a lot of educational experience and a good feel for school classes. The programmes are suitable for school classes from 3rd to 12th grade and are adapted to the age of the pupils.
The topics range from the rocks and minerals of the region, the mountain forest with its animals and plants, the importance of the soil and soil organisms to life in the water and recognising and using herbs.
