As part of our project weeks, the Nockberge Biosphere Park offers a variety of programmes for school excursions, hiking days and project weeks. During these programmes, kids can experience the biosphere park at first hand.

Our programmes awaken curiosity and appeal to the children’s spirit of research and creativity. The biosphere park rangers have excellent expertise, a lot of educational knowlage and experience with children. The programmes are suitable for school classes from 3^rd to 12^th grade and are adapted to the age of the children.

The topics range from the rocks and minerals of the region, the mountain forest with its animals and plants, the importance of the soil and its organisms, to life in the water and recognising and using herbs.
